Evidence · Judgment · Authority · Accountability

The decision space between evidence and action.

Evidence does not automatically lead to better policies, programmes, technologies or services. EAI strengthens how institutions interpret evidence, exercise human judgment, allocate authority and remain accountable for the choices they make.

Why EAI exists

Good evidence does not produce good decisions on its own.

Institutions must determine what evidence is relevant, how much confidence to place in it, whose knowledge should be considered, whether action should be taken and who remains responsible for the consequences.

EAI studies and strengthens this complete decision system—not only the movement of research into use.
